The unifying feature of my practice is an overarching interest in sound. Musical sound, non-musical sound, histories of sound, the anthropology of sound, concepts and ideas about sound, investigations into sound without anything to listen to. 

In my various projects and events I also make use of moving image, photography, sculpture and text.

I have an MA Honours degree in French Studies and a PhD in Electroacoustic Composition, both from the University of Aberdeen.
